SINGLE FILE TEST Two of the files tested ("book1" and "obj2") were taken from the Calgary Corpus, a popular benchmark for compression programs. These are a text file and a binary object file, respectively. Also tested was "xenomsgs" (a capture file from a BBS, consisting of highly compressible information). All files are sorted in order of best compression to worst compression.
