ARCHIVER CHRONOLOGY

The chronology of the popular archivers is most interesting, consisting of
programs continuously improving in performance and in compression.  To date,
all programs which became popular on the Amiga originated on the PC.  It would
be quite the irony if the PC port of LZX, an Amiga program, took over from the
market leaders of the PC!
